From 4 Students to 3,000+

In 1999, Vijay Kishor Tiwari began tutoring four children from his neighbourhood. More than 3,000 students later, he still teaches every class at Vijay Classes himself.

How It Started

The Vijay Classes centre opened in 2000, but the story starts a year earlier. In 1999, Vijay Kishor Tiwari started tutoring a few children from his neighbourhood in Possangipur, Janakpuri. There were just four students.

Parents saw their children improve and told other parents. One family led to the next, and in 2000 Vijay sir opened the Vijay Classes centre. Today the centre teaches everything from Class 1 to MA Political Science.

Today more than 3,000 students have studied here, and many of their younger brothers and sisters study with us too. The way of teaching has not changed: small batches, personal attention, and one teacher who knows every student by name.

How We Teach

    Vijay sir teaches every batch himself, so he knows each student's strengths, weak topics and pace, and nothing is lost between teachers.

  • A Test Every Week

    Students take a test every week and get their marks. Weak topics are spotted early and revised before they become a problem.

  • Doubts Cleared, in English or Hindi

    Students can ask about anything they did not understand. Vijay sir explains it again, in the language that works for them, until it is clear.

  • Notes and Study Material

    Every student gets notes and study material for their subjects, so revision at home is simple and nothing is missed.

  • Extra Classes Before Exams

    Before school, board and university exams, extra classes help students finish revision and walk into the exam hall prepared.

  • Parents Always Know

    Vijay sir calls parents to share how their child is doing, and parents can call him any time with a question or concern.

Vijay Kishor Tiwari

Vijay sir is the founder of Vijay Classes and its only teacher. He has 27 years of teaching experience and teaches every batch himself, from primary school children to MA students.

He holds an MA in History and Political Science, a B.Ed and a BLIS, and Oswaal Books has named him an Incredible Teacher for Class 12 History and Political Science.
